Hello André,

The method I described using JTAG is not very useful for the moment
since it freezes the running system (OS, serial ports, ...). The only
point is that you can test your code with GPIOs and LEDs ...

As I wrote on the wiki, there is a Xilinx bitstream which is embedded
in the BIOS file of the net6501 [1].
Replacing this bitstream and reflashing the BIOS might be a way to
gain persistence across cold reboot.
Before trying this, we need more information about the minimal
requirements for the FPGA image in order to avoid system freeze (and
bricked net6501 ...)
