It's been a while since I've looked at it, but I don't believe that script 
updates either the header or sites files if they've already been downloaded.  
That doesn't mean there isn't a bug, however. :)

For what it's worth, I use rsync for backups as well, but I use the "exclude" 
feature to skip the hunter_seeker download folders (as well as spamdyke's 
graylist folders and a few others).  It saves a lot of time and disk space in 
my backups.
