Bird.Druid Cave is an infamous little speleo horror hole in the Cheat Canyon
ofnorthern West Virginia. It has been described as “easy but treacherous” due
tothe high likelihood that, for example, a large 40’ long ledge in nice-size
walkingpassage that has been crossed many times previously by cavers of all
shapesand sizes, will collapse in dramatic fashion just when you apply weight
to it.More: http://www.caves.com/articles/druid.pdf

Withlacoochee State Forest. But swimmers often squeeze into the small caverns
and caves beneath the surface of the Chassahowitzka River, looking for a quick
