Indeed, and thank you for highlighting this.

I'm so used to putting down CREATE TABLE t (id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, f2, f3,... ) and seeing the id increment automatically when needed, I lost sight of the fact that this HAS to be the rowid alias to work (i.e. INTEGER and not INT).

This little fact probably lends slightly more weight to Peter's request for a way to tell INTEGER PRIMARY KEY apart from INT PRIMARY KEY in a way that doesn't require a schema parse.
