Fine for me. It seems to be everybody else that wants their favorite feature imbedded in the core :-)
Fine grained locking would be a great "asset" I feel. Notice I did not request a "feature." SQLite does have the best extensibility of known to me DBMS. You can bind function or collation from any programming lang. And you can easy write extension with a new functions and collations. You can use SQLite functions in any programming lang and create wrappers. Is it not enought for you?!
