The work on runit-scripts will officially cease December 31, 2014. However, all of the scripts are migrating to supervision-scripts effective immediately. All future efforts will be concentrated on supervision-scripts and runit-scripts will be deprecated. You can find supervision-scripts here:

The change was made as part of a reflection that other frameworks besides runit could be supported with a minimal amount of effort. The target environment remains Debian and Debian-alike systems (where possible), and most of the original runit-script goals remain as well. Additional goals will be added to support s6 out of the box in the very near future. Daemontools will be investigated as a potential target ias well.
