Jean, There is another thing you may try when working with small window/high fps - combine several frames in one (same as in "linescan" mode). In that case several frames will be combined in a single larger one - that will reduce software overhead for handling frames and generating headers. The average data rate when recording to hdd (in *.mov format) should be ~16MB/sec (limited by the ETRAX FS CPU).
