The list that I am on that inspired my post is a Survivalist list <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WWOODS>. We are looking for technology that would run with most homemade fuels, with parts that are easy to make yourself. I don't think a 2 micron heated filter qualifies. How about rag-filter? What would we need to make a engine run on that?
