The other side of the story of course is that these sort of slow news day stories always gloss over the problems that are still to overcome. Like for instance the lab process does 4 litres a day (my own fer- instance) and will it scale up. The no wastewater line is a clasic example. OK maybe they are not washing the finished product but I bet thay can't run a plant with used fryer oil and the inherant FFA's and carbons and included water from use and fryer cleaning with NO wastewater!!!
