I recently fitted what must be a similar product to my 200D Merc. My unit is called a 'Power Plus' and is sold as a fuel ionizing system. The company claims that the unit causes a more complete burn of the fuel (any fuel) thus increasing power whilst reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The vendor offered to fit it, let me try it, and take it away with no charge if I was not satisfied. I was interested, having just discovered the power limitations of the Merc and hoping he unit would improve things. There's a steep hill on the way to my house where I was having to switch to first gear part way up, so I determined exactly where that point was prior to having the unit fitted. On fitting the unit, back to the bottom of the hill I went. The Merc went all the way to the top in second. I bought the unit. I've also noticed another interesting change. I'm burning 50/50 Diesel-WVO. The strength of the frying smell has reduced quite notably, which is quite useful in those places where it is not legal to use veg oil in your vehicle.
