In general, any organic mixture that's BLACK
is toxic, probly carcinogenic. Blackness is
caused by multiple aromatic fused rings --
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, of which
graphite is the extreme version. Do a Google
search on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
