Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply. It does seem Sam Ruby includes inline SVG in his Atom feed. Unfortunately, the inline SVG does not seem to be rendered Google Reader. It seems img tags are probably the best way to go, then, although I wish there was a way in markup to provide a fallback to a solution that is supported by more browsers, such as the object tag. Just to be clear, I think the problem here is in the RSS readers' overzealous scrubbing of certain kinds of content, which unfortunately includes SVG content.
