In my opinion, this kind of "fragmentation" is something to be avoided - lest we likewise end up with a separate Australian OSM database... Liz, are you inferring that the problem is vandalism of Australian content on the OSM wiki? Or something more subtle? I would like to think that these problems can be handled (somehow??) without the last resort of starting an entirely separate wiki.
