Und genau hier liegt der Fehler!!! In der Datei /root/XF86Config in Zeile 221. Irgendwas scheinb das nicht zu stimmen. Mein Tip: Erstmal eine Sicherungskopie von /root/XF86Config anfertigen: cp /root/XF86Config /root/XF86Config.bak Und dann mit cp /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /root/XF86Config die funktionierende, an die Stelle der defekten root-Config kopieren. Ich würde auch probieren, ob der Server nicht auch ohne die Konfig-Datei im Verzeichnis "/root" auskommt.
