Hi Maxim,

On 10 June 2001 at 18:47:36 +0300 (which was 16:47 where I live)
Maxim Masiutin wrote to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and made these
points:

MM> How could we configure the list server to not add "You are
MM> subscribed as :" line that invalidates the signatures?

Syafril has added a content filter to the MDaemon server which
deliberately inserts the line because of the number of people having
trouble un-subscribing from the list because they forgot which account
they subscribed from in the first place. It was to save us the effort.

Of course, on many lists, there are often footers which are added to
list messages to give Archive, FAQ, moderator and Unsub addresses.
Such things always break S/MIME signatures.

Syafril - the TBBETA and TBTECH lists are populated by a more
discerning and "switched on" band of users. We can probably dispense
with the add-ons... what do you think?
