I pasted a very long line into an e-mail message. The message starts with "1." because it is part of a list. There is already a "2." in the list. When I hit <alt> +l to wrap the item I had pasted, it wrapped ok, but the second line was also preceded by "1." I should add that part of the text of the long line included a ">" that is the symbol I use in %QUOTES.
