Hi, Thanks for responding. My use-case is similar to the nokia. I have a VOIP phone and I am integrating telepathy to enable gtalk calling. I do not require contacts or their presence information. Just need a simple URI dialing. I am not sure if I need mission control. But, will have a look at it.

If you want a example of doing a call directly with telepathy without mission-control you could have a look at the call example from telepathy-python. It's obviously in python, but the same concepts apply in general. Even though you didn't really explain what you're use-case is, i would advise you to have a good look at mission-control as it might still be useful for you.
