After his transformation resided in Paris up to May 1780. Acquired Renaud's theatre. In a few months Lestat and his mother Gabrielle were captured by the Parisian Coven led by Armand. Having broken free, decided to leave Paris and went away with Gabrielle, but had assigned Renauds's Theatre, re-named by Nicolas as the Theatre des Vampires, to Eleni and Armand. From 1780 to 1790 traveled Europe, Asia Minor and Egypt. In 1790 leant about the death of his family during the French Revolution, parted with Gabrielle and went into the earth. Saved by Marius, who found him, took to his sanctuary and revealed the secret of Those Who Must Be Kept. Later came to New Orleans where he found his blind father and met Louis de Point du Lac, whom he made his vampire companion. From 1791 to 1794 lived with the Marquis and Louis in the plantation of Point du Lac; after the death of his father and the slave rebellion escaped with Louis to New Orleans. In 1862 was seriously wounded by Claudia, but survived and came back to Paris. There, deceived by Armand's coven, testified against Claudia and was cast out. Two years later returned to New Orleans, moved into one of his old houses, trying to re-gain his power; he lived there until 1929, when he again went into the earth. Re-appears in 1984. Becomes interested in the modern world, reads Louis's book and eager to attract the attention of both mortals and vampires, starts a cult rock band The Vampire Lestat and publishes an autobiography, where shares the vampire secrets with the whole world. After the notorious concert in San Francisco, on Halloween, where had gathered most of the surviving vampires, was kidnapped by Akasha and became her companion. After some time returned with Akasha to the others and witnessed her death. A month and a half later finished his new book, The Queen of the Damned, where he had told Akasha's story, and appeared in the Talamasca's London Motherhouse before David Talbot, when for the first time in the history of the Talamasca got involved in a conversation with a mortal.
