This sounds like RealVNC, given that version number. They are
unfortunately not very interested in interoperability so I think you're
out of luck using any other client than their own.

There is a standardised encryption called VeNCrypt though that many of
the other VNC implementations support. So try one of those servers
instead and you get a bit more choice in clients.
