With the exception of the counting, that almost happens in the UK,
particularly Scotland, where it's about two weeks off rather than just a
few days. I guess NTP or Big Ben would replace the priest now!


Didn't the Romans do the same thing.. 5 day intercalary period during which the Saturnalia occurred. And they had 10 day weeks,
