When we updated these existng databases I see some entries like this: [2009-06-03 14:58:28,794] DEBUG:orm:column relate is in the table ir_model_fields but not in the corresponding object ir.model.fields [2009-06-03 14:58:28,822] DEBUG:orm:column usage is in the table ir_act_url but not in the corresponding object ir.actions.url [2009-06-03 14:58:28,853] DEBUG:orm:column trigger_type is in the table wkf_transition but not in the corresponding object workflow.transition [2009-06-03 14:58:28,911] DEBUG:orm:column version_pattern is in the table ir_module_module_dependency but not in the corresponding object ir.module.module.dependency
So something is not aligned between the tables and the orm. There must have been some incompatible change made that openerp-server could not update successfully. I'm going to dump and remove all these existing tables and then retest.
