All right,

if you use the same accounting schema for all companies, that's probably not 
too hard.
Now, in lot's of multi-companies cases, you actually need several different 
accounting schemas and this is where all the corner cases begin (by default 
OpenERP won't pickup the product tax attached to the right schema and all that 
sort of tings that multiply across modules).
