I am trying to install Tomcat 4.0.1 on a Redhat Linux 7.0 box. I am up to the part where I have to download a binary distribution of JAXP 1.1 from http://java.sun.com/xml/download.html. I have downloaded this and it turns out to be a .ps (postscript) file. It doesn't look like a binary file. Next I'm supposed to unpack it and move a resulting "xalan.jar" file to another location. I am unfamiliar with .ps files. I looked at the above web site and can not find a binary download. Has anybody else had this problem?
Thanks, Stan
