The Apache Tuscany community is pleased to announce Milestone 3 releases of Service Component Architecture (SCA) Native and Service Data Objects (SDO) for C++.
The Tuscany SCA Native release: http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TUSCANY/SCA+Downloads The Tuscany SDO C++ release: http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TUSCANY/SDO+Downloads For further information, visit our web site at: http://incubator.apache.org/tuscany Release Summary ============= Tuscany SCA Native provides a runtime implementation for the Service Component Architecture Assembly Model specification version 0.96 and the Service Component Architecture Client and Implementation for C++ specification version 0.95. The Tuscany SCA Native M3 Release includes support for component implementations written in C++, Python and Ruby languages. It also includes support for interface bindings using webservices (using Axis2C) and REST. Tuscany SDO C++ is an implementation of the Service Data Objects 2.01 specification for C++ developers. The M3 release includes performance improvements (30-40%) along with improvements to robustness. Both SCA and SCA releases now support the Mac OS X operating system. For pointers to the specification documents, visit the Open Service Oriented Architecture (OSOA) collaboration website: http://osoa.org/display/Main/Home. Incubation ======== Tuscany is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Web Services PMC. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF. Please feel free to send any feedback to our mailing lists: firstname.lastname@example.org [EMAIL PROTECTED] Any contribution in the form of coding, testing, improving the documentation, and reporting bugs is always welcome.
