thanks for detailed response. i tried the html code that you send but still I
find errors in eclipse pointing the same items.length code but i tried to run
it with these erros on both IE and firefox but there is only one imporvement in
firefox result that now it shows the checkboxes (but does not show the items
apple, orange etc.)
