As I have told it before, I don't have the Linux Mint 4.0 Xfce right now. If you insist, I can download it for you. But it would be better if you can wait few more days as Linux Mint 5 will be based on Hardy Heron as well as LTS.

By the way, we should stick with the topic. Or we can start another topic on this.

Thanks bhaia.

I would like to get the mint 4 Xfce version for now. How can I contact you? You can send me your mobile no in my personal mail or can send me a blank sms.

"P.S. Mint is Ubuntu all the way."
I read somewhere Mint is 80% ubuntu. Well, I gave it the preference for the rest 20%.

Of course I can write it for you. But the problem is I only have GNOME and KDE Community versions. If you confirm me that you need the Mint 4.0 Xfce version right now. I can download it for you.

Otherwise, I'd ask you to wait for a while as Mint 5.0 is going to be released in this month. I am going to download all GNOME, KDE and Xfce versions for everyone interested.

Let me know.

P.S. Mint is Ubuntu all the way.

Dear Raihan Hasnain Bhai,

I just got to know about linux mint from your mails. I went through it's website and really liked its look [out of the box]. I want to give it a try with xfce (My PC configuration is very low). But I think this distro is not available in our market let alone release 4.0 or Elyssa. Can you write me a cd/dvd pls. And what is your phone number?

How to use it? It is just another DE (desktop environment)
gOS (another ubuntu derived distro) uses it as default DE.
It is still in beta phase lacks stability. I couldn't like it at all.

Enlightenment is a darwin based DE, therefore having a native dock!

It couldn't become alternative of GNOME and KDE yet. If you are looking for a good alternative, Xfce is the name (I see a storm is coming).
