I may encounter the same bug: I try to install Lubuntu 10.04 using the live CD. It starts well, and I can see the dots indicating the loading process. Then, before X starts, I get a blank (black) screen, the computer is completely frozen and I need to do a hard shutdown (CAPS LOCK does not change the lights on the keyboard, CTRL-ALT-F1 and CTRL-ALT-DEL have no effect).
The computer is a Acer Travelmate 291 LCi laptop (centrino 1.4GHz, 512 Mo of RAM) Xubuntu 10.4 worked well on this laptop Crunchbang 9.04 live CD worked well also BUT I have exactly the same bug when I try to run the Linux Mint 9 LXDE live CD! -- No Login-Screen after Update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578361 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
