Word up: I'm only posting here because the Q1 Ultra seems to be
somewhat of the reference platform for UME. If this is still in any
way inappropriate, please direct me to the apropriate list/forum for
Q1U install/config questions.

Many thanks! This was exactly he magick I was looking for. The only
problem I had after this was that for some reason I was getting a
1024x768 virtual screen even though I had no virtual screens defined
and only one resolution set. I was able to add a "Virtual 1024 600"
line to remidy this, but that seems to me *not* the way things are
supposed to work.

BTW, GGT4 i386 alternate (I'm an old-skool debian guy) failed
miserably during the install on my Q1 Ultra -- the screen went all
candy-psychedlic in text mode at some point during package
installation. I think I'll stick with Feisty for now.

It looks like, by default, the touchscreen is somehow mapped to the
mouse input driver. The *only* pointer device referenced in xorg.conf
is the standard PS/2 mouse, yet I still get a response from the
touchscreen. However the calibration is all FUBAR. Is it possible to
just fix the calibration and leave the driver chain as is, or do I
need to follow the entire set of instructions as listed here:
