For Ubuntu Mobile and Embedded, the main mailing list is
[email protected]
However, it depends on the patch. For the core chipset patches (PATA, LIBATA,
HDAUDIO, etc.) they were sent to the ubuntu kernel mailing list by Jacob Pan
(SSG/OTC).
For the pre-Alpha 2D driver, I dealt directly with the Ubuntu X11 maintainer.
Since it was an entirely new driver, it really isn't a patch. It was a
complete tar archive.

Subject: RE: Process for Sending Patches to OSV?
Hello James and Charles,
Thank you for the feedback. In the case where the patches are sent
before they are integrated in Moblin…is there a mailing list you are using or
the process of sending the patches to the OSV though email to the OSV?
Thanks,
Chris

Exactly the same for RF. When there have new patches available on moblin, RF
will get message from Moblin mail list and we will inform them as well. Then RF
will directly integrate the new patches into their build.

Generally we want to have them integrated into MOBLIN first. For some of the
drivers such as the pre-alpha 2D graphics, it went into Ubuntu and MOBLIN
simultaneously.

Hello Charles and James,
I wanted to confirm…for the patches that will be periodically coming
throughout the program…how are you guys working with the OSV’s to get this
delivered to them? Are you waiting for the patches to be integrated by Moblin
or you sending them directly to the OSV once the patch is available?
Thanks,
