Hello.

I just downloaded and installed the first MID release, found at:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/mobile/releases/hardy/mid-8.04.1-menlow-install-usb.img

I dd'ed it to a USB key and installed it successfully. Now, I would like to be
able to have root user access so that I can modify the installation for my
purposes. So, I have a few questions:

1. I wasn't asked for the root password when it was installed. What is the
root password?
2. If this install image is a proof of concept, then does this mean that I
should use the Mobline Image Creator (ie
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/mobile/releases/hardy/mid-8.04.1-menlow.mic.tar.bz2 )?

NOTE: I am using an Intel Atom processor eval board, hence why I am using the
Menlow version.

Thanks in advance.
