This is pretty much mind bungling ... how can "rebels" attack a refugee camp which is apparently well guarded by the UPDF?

GULU: REBELS ATTACK REFUGEE CAMP
Church/Religious Affairs, Brief

Rebels of the self-styled LRA (lordâs Resistance Army) attacked the refugee camp of Kochongako, roughly ten kilometres west of Gulu, in northern Uganda, during the night between Monday and Tuesday, local religious sources have told MISNA. âThe rebels targeted the barracks inside the camp. The violence of the assault sent the government soldiers fleeing. The rebels then burned down the barracks, before setting fire to the whole campâ, which shelters roughly 10,000 displaced people. According to the source, at least two people have been reported dead, âthe wife and young son of one of the soldiers stationed in the campâ, while eight people were injured. The wounded are receiving treatment in the hospital at Lachor. [LC]

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."

- Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels - Hitler's propaganda minister
