Sorry to hear it.  The value in /sys/firmware/edd/int13_dev80/version
will tell you what EDD version your BIOS supports; only version 3.0
(0x30) or higher will support the host_bus/interface stuff.  I saw
some patches floating around to add support for providing a little
extra info even with 2.1 EDD BIOSes; I do not know whether they were
merged into the Linux mainline.

Is the "mbr_signature" actually different between the two?  In theory,
we can use that to help discriminate, it will just take some work.  (I
was a little lazy when I wrote the script.)
