I have a computer here wich i try to install using unattended-linux. But the ide_disk driver does not work, i shows somthing like "hda: DMA timeout error "
This is a SIS5513 IDE Controller. According to http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&m=104212864518052&w=4 i enabeled ACPI in the Kernel, and then the install went OK. Is it possible to enable ACPI as default in the kernel? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Wim Bonis ,+'^'+, Telefon:06301-791868 NetwerkAnalyse und SystemDesign Mobil:0170-5664234 +,.,+ v-and-b:06352-719160 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Kaiserslautern/Mehlbach pgp-fingerprint: 6118 C35D FE0F 5FDE D632 E8EF ECE7 EA5F 6BDB F776 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
