I am looking at unattended with a view to building up a list of scripts to automated reainstalling all my software packages if I do an OS reinstall.
The problem is that I have a non-standard partition structure: 2 5gig partitions for a win2k and an XP OS install, one partition for applications and one for data. I don't not want apps to install to the OS partitions (which never have C as the drive letter). Can I modify the scripts to point the installs to a new target directory or target drive. The default directory structure on the apps drive would be fine: usually when installing manually I just change the drive letter.
