You know what most surprised me? They actually describe how to boot Windows PE over PXE without RIS/WDS. Just simple DHCP and TFTP. Don't know if it still needs the BINL service to know what network card driver it has to use. However, I'm still fiddling around to get it to boot over PXE. All I got to see this evening was a big bunch of "TFTP failed" errors.
