"Update on the 4700 Kingsessing Church Building:
•L and I has awarded a contract for the demolition.
•Details are being finalized.
•Demolition will likely begin next week (Week of July 7).
•The demolition company can choose to sell anything of value from
the church before knocking it down.
•Only the sanctuary is scheduled for demolition, not the Parish
House. (The sanctuary is this building on the corner. The Parish
house is the building next to it on south 47th street)."
