I had a feeling it had to do with the tomahawk taglib file. Just so you know we are using that same configuration with our app: MyFaces 1.1.5-SNAPSHOT, Tomahawk 1.1.5-SNAPSHOT, Facelets 1.1.10 and Shale 1.0.4. Greg
