It seems that qdox has some cvs commits regarding java1.5 especific changes
(august), however http://dist.codehaus.org/qdox/jars/qdox-1.6-SNAPSHOT.jar
is dated January.

Glen, 
Try to make your own qdox snapshot from CVS and test it.
You could post the result if you have enhancements.
