[xdoclet-user] Build instructions

I checked the mailing list and the xdoclet.codehaus.org web site and the 
wiki and did not see the answer to this very basic question.  Once I 
have snagged the code out of CVS, how do I build it?  Nor does the 
README.txt or TODO.txt files indicate the build process.  I downloaded 
and installed the latest Maven (2.0), replacing my old pre-1.0 release 
of maven (last time I looked at it).  When I type "mvn", I get an error 
message.  Not knowing maven or xdoclet2, I feel like a monkey banging on 
a keyboard, trying "mvn install", "mvn alljar".  There does not seem to 
be a default target like you can have under Ant.  What goal am I 
supposed to specify?  Actually, please give me the exact command line.  
If I overlooked the instructions somewhere or am missing some piece of 
doc, please let me know where to find it.  Thank you.
