I could give him a tab delimited file for all that matters. I don't do a lot of fancy stuff in my invoices. I prefer to keep things as simple as possible. That's not always possible, nor my natural inclination ( unfortunately). The error (probably my fault) in the configuration could be in either one, since I am the administrator of the system.
