It happens to me too in Windows XP SP3.

It did not do this with 3.1.1

It just is a real pain. There has to be a way to tell the system that these
toolbars are needed when you open the Writer or to keep them when you
go to print preview mode then back to editing mode.

Well this is another try to get anyone to help me fix the trouble
with the toolbars that I am setting to view going away.

I did not see this in 3.1.x, but it is happening with 3.2 64-bit "deb"

I open Writer. Set the "text object" toolbar to be viewed.
Then when I do a print preview, and back, the toolbars I "turned on"
for viewing go away. This is not proper at all.

I am use to setting up a few toolbars and using them throughout all
my documents, but EVERY time I open a document, I loose the toolbar
I had when I last used Writer. Now I see that I loose the toolbars when
I go to a print preview and back to "normal view".

Something has to be wrong or not set correctly with this install of 3.2
or it could be the version itself. I do not know.

Since no one has ever responded to my last 2 posts, I was either wondering
if I am being snubbed or no one has seen this before.

I just need the toolbars to work properly. If not I will have to stop
using 3.2
and deal with 3.1.x that Ubuntu installs and updates. I still have 3.1.x
on this
machine since even if I uninstall it and install 3.2, the menu and default
system
wants 3.1.x and cries foul when I try to get the desktop-integration part
installed.

So it could be Ubuntu, or the 64-bit "deb" version on the web site.
Whatever it is I really need help fixing the problem.

ANY ONE out there that can help?
