Have you downloaded the program already? If not, you can get it here: http://www.openoffice.org/ and click on "I want to download OpenOffice.org". The following site will offer you the version that is appropriate for your operating system. Click on "Download now" and the download will start immediately. Once you've downloaded the software, do a double click on the file and the installer will start. It will first extract the files into a folder that you can specify and automatically continue to install the software. Once this is done, you should have an entry in your start menu labeled "OpenOffice.org" and you can click on this to start the program.
