OK you guys- I get the point! ( At least you didn't get personal about my
obvious character flaws including owning a minivan in the first place)
Bigger is better not just in Texas- but I'm still a bit reluctant to shell
out for a tow vehicle costing 2 or 3 times as much as the towee. Perhaps I'd
have to do some actual 'work' with a big truck to justify it- I am a CDL
holder after all. Inoperable vintage car hauling from Utah anyone?

Thanks for all the replies to my outside lock question concerning keys. As it turned
out, they were all keyed the same except the water compartment.
Half of the roll up cubboard doors are broken, some held together with duct tape. Some
parts are missing. The rest of them are in good shape. Is the original parts
available or are they reproducing them?
I have a 1972 31' Sovereign.

because i'm going overseas and won't be around
for a year or so to make payments and drive it.
also, my grandpa gave me his '99 ford with 16k
miles (he doesn't drive any more).

it's a '96 chevy silverado longbed (350 engine) -
