Actually, for all the "paranoid goofs" out there, once you send an e-mail, there is a copy of it on EVERY e-mail server it passes through. That is how Mr. Gates was nailed in the anti-trust trial. Well, before the US Justice Department sold out, anyway. It isn't just "Once on the web, always on the web." There is always an electronic trail, always has been, always will be. But I think the resistance to Google Groups is that there are people who do not want to deal with a web interface, or who are not sure how this will impact something they have become comfortable with, in the guise of this list. I think it is more a resistance to change, and not just this change. Besides, Google is good. It's not a pod. Go ahead, Jimmy, take one...Oh wait, wrong list.
