Well...I can only set up this connection from work and start the
application from there also....but when at home I want to be able to use
the application.

So I need to make this connection from the vgl_server through the proxy
to
home....start an application running on the vgl_server so that it
appears
on my home machine, and be able to interact with it from there.

Sorry for the confusion.
