For those who have used VMWare (Win or Linux version), they should know that when the mouse pointer is within the virtual machine, almost every key combination (except Ctrl+Alt+Del) is trapped by the client machine. So, that shows that passing keys can be done. The question is how to achieve the trick. Unfortunately, I don't think source code is available.
