All the arguments about wet steam or dry steam are bullshit. Water cannot leave the reaction vessel without directly flowing out. If no water reaches the hose, it can only escape as steam. Water changing state is always endothermic, even by evaporation (it's what cools humans on a hot day). Water cannot walk up the chimney and out the hose. Only a gas can do that. It's Newton's law. T
