These two are great places to start helping. Adding features to TerAngreal is probably a more rewarding project than messing about with SWIG, though that would of course be great. There are lots of places for improving just the GUI (the WIMP part) of TerAngreal too, especially in the chat features (e.g. to send private messages to people) or in whatever tools you think are missing.
