As announced, a new beta release of Webware for Python is available for testing. It contains a lot of bug fixes and improvements, including many old issues from the SourceForge tracker. Backward compatibility with Python <2.3 has been fixed in many places. The idea is to switch to Python 2.3 or 2.4 in future releases and leave this release as resort for people who depend on very old Python versions for whatever reason.
Please test and let me know of any problems!
