If we want some clearness in the terms, what you said was valid during 2012
(Oracle OpenOffice 3.3). OpenOffice (or, more correctly, Apache OpenOffice)
is developed by the Apache Software Foundation since 2013.

LibreOffice is free and open and indpendent.

LibreOffice is a project of The Document Foundation. I am a LibreOffice
user and a member of LibreItalia, but it doesn't look fair to me to
implicitly suggest that OpenOffice is not free/open/independent.

Are you talking about NextCloud as software or are you criticizing the
usage of the word "cloud" for a distributed/federated opensource project?
In the first case I would say that yes, we need it, as we need minio,
tahoe-lafs and others projects.

Sorry, but I am more confused by this last email that the one from Germano,
and I still don't get what Germano said wrong: was it something he said in
another mail or during the IRC meeting?
